Weather's-a-Changin'

Melinda and I sort of had the same train-O-thought here on this one... but NOT being from beautiful Wisconsin, we Idahoans have ANOTHER definition of "season change". Holla if you hear me on this one, fellow photogs, if you don't like the weather here in southeast Idaho... just wait 5 minutes and you'll get whole other picture!

This picture was taken out in the fields past the temple. It was a beautiful/crappy day... five minutes on, five minutes off... you get it. I used the dodge/burn tool to darken parts of the clouds to really enhance their OMINOUS nature, added a border and boosted the whole thing in the end.

HOLLA, Katy! I used to live in Rigby, and I know exactly what you're talking about! (I think it's funny when people say that it is windy here... they don't know what windy is! ;) Thank goodness for ominous weather, though... that picture is AMAZING!

Katy, I love this! Hey, I like WI, but I actually really miss Idaho, too. (Yes, the IF area.) I really love how your picture has the blue sky, from 5 minutes ago, and the rainy cloud. Very cool!

These blues are amazing!!! Great dramatic shot!

I live in the same city... I guess I don't even notice the weather anymore! At least the wind isn't blowing us away today! : )

Oh- I miss Idaho! I married a local Rexburg-ite so these shots always bring back memories. ::sigh:: This is really beautiful- definatley a true Idaho storm. Sun shining on both sides of a dark storm cloud. I just love all the colors!
