handle

This is a photo of the handle of my antique dresser.

"SOOC" with my point and shoot. Natural light, no flash. I put "SOOC" because my photog hubby gave me an interesting lesson about how SOOC on a digital camera is a misnomer... that being said I did not do any post processing in element.

what did your hubby tell you about "SOOC"... I like learning these things!

Cool picture, i can imagine this handle belonging to a beautiful piece of antique furniture... I like that i am imagining the whole thing... great job! the natural light is really great with all the detail and texture of the handle... very pretty!

Definitely antique. I like the macro nature. i think it's being slightly washed out from the right, maybe a diffuser would've helped. Maybe a little more depth of field to show the wood grain would've been nice too. Post processing is nothing to be "ashamed" of, especially to adjust exposure, contrast, and/or saturation. Good job!
