I hope you guys dont mind that I interject here but Google is having a photography contest with a prize $7500. It is for pictures to include with their themes for igoogle.com. I know that there are many people here that could win it and the prizes would be sort of nice right. Plus it might be a good way to get your name out there or to add on a resume for any professionals!

I'm guessing that most of us probably can't actually enter the contest. It says:
Rules
* There is a limit of one entry per person.
* Each entrant must submit five different images in the correct format as specified below.
* All entrants must be higher education students, and use their academic email address to enter.
* All entries must be submitted by 31st May.
* All entries must abide by our Terms and Conditions.
Gotta be a college student.
Yep, looks like college students only...and it looks like it's more of photoshop art pictures than actual photography. Darn! Bummer!
Oh didnt notice that till now but many of you still have your college email addresses. I know if you graduated from BYU-idaho for instance you can still register for classes at anytime so you could be considered an active college student "technically".

I am thinking about it. I just have the problem with the igoogle logo blocking the main part of my photos.
So far I have a theme of ocean with some pictures from the ocean and aquarium. I doubt I would win but hey worth a shot.
go go go!! i think it'd be a cool thing to enter into!
