Balanced ~or~ Deeply Rooted

I took this today down by the waterway, the bank was lined with trees that had fallen due to erosion. This one amazed me, and I tried so hard to get a shot that portrayed both the depth of the roots, and height of the tree.









Before I left, while taking pics of a pelican, I saw this across the water on the other side of the bank...just not in time :( The tree fell right before my eyes......

I can't believe this pic is SOOC! It's sharp, the colors are nice and vibrant and the exposure is right on! Nice work, I'm impressed. Also, love-love-love the angle. It makes it so interesting to look at.

ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! It fell like 5 seconds after you took it!???? It was DEFINITELY meant to be-- it's like Old Mr. Tree was just waiting around till someone could give him the credit he deserved for being so cool-- i'm so glad it was you that found did that job!!! YOu did a magnificent job, i LOVE that you got from the tippy top down to the very bottom... sooo cool!

Interesting photo the way you took it. The rest are right the angle is nice. I didnt expect it to be laying on the ground like it was in the bottom picture.
