UNO=ONE...just a little Spanish lesson. :)
I took this by setting the top layer of cards up on a glass tabletop I have and the other cards on the floor below. (thus the floating look)
Took inside with only natural light (blocking the sun so I didn't have a glare)...had to use a little higer ISO...
ISO 800, 66mm, f5.3, 1/60 second
Did a color boost in Adobe Lightroom.
This was SUCH a fun challenge! It was really hard to narrow it down. And it was fun to be surprised...thanks Janelle for thinking up this one!

yowza magowza!!! This picture is rocking my world!!!!! I LOVE the floating affect.. how SWEET is that!!! Awesome take on the challenge too-- it's perfect!!!! (ps. an bonus... your cards look crispy-good, mine are usually all chewed up and mangled to death... we love to play Spoon-O)
Awesome awesome job!!!!
Love it!
I knew this was yours before I even looked...so dang creative!!!!Love it
Oh Rachel, Rachel, Rachel....you ROCK!
I love the floating affect. And uno. Why didn't I think of that!?
Rachel!!! You've done it again with the incredible "how on earth" set-up! And I agree with Corynn... how did we all miss thinking of such a great picture for "one"? This is a seriously awesome amazing picture!!
You always impress me, and this is no exception! I love this!
Freakin LOVE this!!!!! LOVE the floating effect and the crispness of the cards.
Excellent job, girl, you ROCK!
haha...these cards are FAR from crispy. Promise. In fact, as I was shooting this shot, I was warding off a 2 year old with a bottle of Windex who was obsessed with stealing my number 1 cards. :)
Oh, and I am open to CC....I always forget to put that, dang it!
Rachel, I always forget to put cc on mine too... maybe we should make those who DON'T want it say "no cc, please"! ;)
That said, I have NOTHING to add to your picture... I think it's amazing as is!
Love this!!! I love the floating effect and the one's showing. You are so creative!! I think this might look cool with some selective coloring with just the 1's in muted color.
As always Rachel this is an amazing shot! Were do you get your ideas? I wish I had your creative mind. Very cool!
as soon as I saw this picture, I knew it was yours. You always have a "magical" effect on your pictures.
I enjoy looking at them!
I also knew it was yours right away. You have an "it" factor that identifies your photos immediately. You always use lots of bright colors, which lends life and vivacity to your subjects.
this is a great shot! I also wish i had your creative mind.
