Battle of the Bulge

I wanted to take a photo of the aftermath, per se, of my addiction. Namely I am incredibly addicted to dessert. I love cookies and brownies and cheesecake and ice cream. Plus I eat way too much of them. I try not to have them in the house at all because then I won't eat them. I hardly ever bake anymore because I have absolutely no self control. That being said, I started an exercise regimen in November and I've been really good at keeping on top of it. I've lost 25 pounds so far and other than a set back or two (like my SIL's peanut butter truffle brownies!) I'm doing well to beat back my bulges!

Good for you!!! That's a great accomplishment! I, too, am addicted to cheesecake, if there's one in the house, I'm lucky if I don't devour the whole thing in a two day period at most!

And good job doing a self-portrait, those can be very tricky!

Self portraits are indeed tough - good job. although I do think you'd get better results w/a tripod. if there's one thing I don't like about digital cameras it's how they've ushered in an era of normally lame self portraits. But I like your addiction take. as you know I share the same addiction but w/o the same dedication to exercise.

Congratulations on your weight loss! I have found that the timer on my camera works well for self portraits, since I don't have a remote. :) Good idea to show the results of an addiction!

mmm.. I'm right there with you!! You said cheesecake and I was wondering if I had enough cream cheese to make some! Great take on addiction, very unique!

hahaha~! This is a great one! I thought about it too, but there was no way on earth I was going to take pictures of my bulge, because I too don't have your same dedication. Oh, if only!!!
