A Big Pile

Well, I was really challenged by the word ABSTRACT. So, I just put the camera in the car and started driving around, when I happened upon a pile of wood. I almost drove right past it, but at the last second, I swerved off the road, parked on the shoulder and jumped out. Thank goodness noone else was around and no other cars happened by.

This is about as abstract as I get. Hope it's acceptable.

I took this with my wide angle lens. f/6.3, 1/100, ISO 100. In ps, I sharpened and saturated the colors.

SUPER COOL! One thing I love about these challenges is it gets me out and looking at the world around me. I am glad you took this challenge and did just that. What a cool subject! Great shot!

Good job! That IS a big pile of wood! I've done the pulling off the road thing for a picture too... I still have that "people are going to think I'm weird" worry, but I'm working on getting over it!

Very good shot, I love the sharpness and the coloring of the branches. For some reason it reminds me of Fall and gathering wood for our wood stove! Love it!
