I have to thank Mindy again for suggesting this challenge. I had so much fun with it! It was so hard to choose what to take pictures of--but I decided on a drinking fountain at our church when I was there last night for a meeting.
I realized after the fact I had my ISO a little high, which was a bummer. But as I took it, it went:
ISO 900, F 5.6, 1/30 sec

Great pic! I love how clear the water droplets are on the metal. Great job! :)
I wish I hadn't felt rushed and had another source of light (you probably know how lame the lighting in the church is!) But thank you!!
Rachel, this is a great picutre, the drops are so sharp I can almost touch them. Thank you for the comment you left on my pic, it is so funny, when I see the subject for the challange my minds starts racing of what I can do and then I just see something ( like the fence) and start shooting. I have really appreciated this site I think it has helped us all to be better photographers. Anyways back to your picture, VERY VERY Nice.
Awesome picture, Rachel!! I think the high ISO was probably a good thing... with the lighting and all. I think it works great with this picture, and I love it.
I love the colors and the water looks so great! I don't think I could make the water fountians in our church look this good.
fantastic picture and very different.
I love the angle you took this at. Very nice!
Nice shot. I love the water droplets.
I love how the water looks. It's sharp and fresh. What a great idea for a photograph!
Great job on getting the water droplets so sharp--you'll have to teach me how! I might of tried a little different angle on this, but I still love this shot. Great job!
