Tradition--game style

Shanda and I were definitely thinking along the same lines! I took this yesterday afternoon but didn't have time to put it on until this morning. I am sorry I am officially breaking the mission 24 rule and posting late! My mom is in town and we were busy busy yesterday with the kids during the day, and stayed up WAYYYY too late sewing. But I took it!! :)

My family is loves to play games. For the first couple years my husband and I were married we had the tradition of giving each other a new game for every gift-giving holiday--Valentines Day, birthdays, Christmas, etc. We have a great collection now and love to pull them out and play.

And I love the part of the Hi-Ho Cherry-O box that says "When it's time for us, nothing else matters." So true...

I love the way you set this picture up. With the focus on the games but the family was still included. Great colors too!

My husband and I have kinda the same traditions, santa brings our family a new game every year for christmas. It's such a great way to bring the family together.

Great depth of field! I'm glad you are having such a great time with your mom. We play a lot of games in our family too.

I love this photo, Rachel. I love how much it says, even though the main focus is on a very small area. Perfect, perfect.

I absolutely love how the games are in focus with the family in the background. Very, very cool! And I love the tablecloth, too, great colors!

Great picture! I like how it is focused on the games! I've been playing with my camera on some different settings, on just trying to take great raw pictures (No photo shop). One of the things I'm trying to learn is this great zoom effect! It really pulls your focus on what you are trying to say, tells the story for you!

I like that the focus is on the games, but you can see that the little people in the background are having a great time. Fun picture!
