After eating this wonderful meal, I don't have to clean up or do dishes, or pry a "thanks, Mom, that was yummy!" from my daughter's lips!
After reading several of these, I realized I was assuming you all know me, even when I'm certain I don't know many of you. I'm a SAHM of two little girls, cousin to Rachel (founder of our blog), blogging fool, and while I love taking pictures, I'm very aware that I'm completely ameture. I'm so honored to be a part of this cool group of other learning, and learned, photographers!

Oh that's making me drool all over the keyboard!! What a cool picture, that's so neat how you got everything else b/w... way way cool!
I love your plate!
Wait, is this a restaurant?
I love the B&W with the color. They are like my favorite pictures.
I would colored just the food or one of the foods. My eyes run around the plate.
This, to me, is a really great way to use selective coloring (which I'm not that fond of but it works here and you did a good job with it). If you had gotten eye level with the food that could have added another element of interest in your photo. Nice work!
I agree with April...getting down eye level with the food. And maybe turning off the flash. I know it was probably dim, but if you set it still you can get some good night shots without flash...
But really, who WOULDN'T love a picture of food at OLIVE GARDEN?!? Great comfort!! :)
Oh, I so hear with with not having to clean things up.
I really like the effect with the black and white background.
That is so interesting with the color and b&w! And not cleaning up or doing dishes? Wonderful!
