Time to Harvest

My inspiration for this photo was Ecclesiastes 3 where it talks about a time to plant and a time to harvest. Obviously this is our harvest. It's the tomatoes and peppers from our garden today in my son's bright orange sand bucket. I photoshopped it a ton so the bucket wasn't so ORANGE! CC always welcome!

I see lots of good salsa coming your way. How wonderful to grow your own vegetables..that is my goal for next year is to have a garden. Good job on your set up.

Mmmm... my tomatoes are still green. Totally jealous.

Next time try your macro focus to get a sharper close-up image. (I don't know what camera you have, but most camera's have a macro setting- look for a little flower icon.)

I shoot with a nikon d200 - I had the bucket on the floor and was just clicking away so . . . this was the best I got - I should have put it on the counter so I could check my focus better. I was focused on the back of the bucket not the vegetables - oops

So jealous! They look so yummy! My cc would be to have tried to get them still on the vine or someone harvesting them. Or, maybe to have taken a picture of them in a glass bowl and not the bucket to better capture the crisp coloring. Enjoy your goods! My mouth is watering!
