Time: Keeping good time

I loved this challenge. I had a lot of ideas. I didn't execute a lot of them -- I mostly took pictures of clocks, but I had some good clocks. The above clock is in the center court at my local mall. It's a really beautiful clock.

(See my runners-up here.)

That is a very neat clock.. I can see why you chose this picture, altho your other ones are great too. Good job on your mall clock.

that is a cool clock I like how you caught the angle of it to get two faces showing rather than just one!

i like it. i LOOOOVE the color clock near the end of that blog entry that is round and flat looking with NO background distractions. and i like the sands of time idea too.

i think its a great shot, my cc would be to find the angle to shoot it that gives it more focus. to get rid of background...and if an angle cant be found shoot it at a REALLY wide f stop, like a 2.8 or 3.0 then the background will blur out a bit.

good shot.

Love this photo. It's super interesting, though not crazy-cluttered. Great job composing it-I always forget that the middle of the picture is usually not the best. Love how you off centered it, but still kept it balanced.

Thanks Charlotte! I tried to off-center it a little bit, but it's too big to be able to really employ the rule of thirds with. Since I didn't get it far enough off-center deliberately, I was worried it was going to just look like I mis-aimed, you know?

Great pic... I also love the one where you see it full lenght - your 13th picture I believe. Great job with that clock.

This clock is gorgeous! I have to admit I absolutely loved the other clock (the tall one) on your blog. I also thought your sands of time idea was quite creative.
