Smooth Movement

The duck in this photo displays fluid movement.

I was actually taking photos of the Falls for water (water= fluid) but the duck took off
from the side and flew into my path. I decided that was a better use of
fluid.

I did a lot to this photo in PS- well more than I normally do. There were some ugly sticks in the water that distracted from the duck and I didn't like how brown the water was so I changed those things. {CC}

great motion on the water and I love the lighting on the rocks. just thought i'd point out that that's actually a canadian goose, not a duck.

This is a really awesome picture. The way you caught the bird in motion is amazing!

Quick question...I know it would be a lot to explain but how do you Frame pictures in PS CS4? Is it pretty simple or maybe if it isn't simple, you or some one could do a tutorial on it. I think all the pictures looked so much more crisp with a black background (the way the old background was on the blog) so I was wanting to add a black frames around my pics, I just think it looks nicer.

This is a fantastic shoot. I looks like the Eagle Rock falls if I am not mistaken. I would put that on the cover of a tourism magazine or something cus it is just fantastic!

Thanks everyone!

For that border I use an action I found online. The only way I've ever know to do it is to change the canvas size (to however big you want the border to be) and then add a black layer underneath.

This is fantastic! You captured fluid in every aspect of the word. How did you bring out the blue like that? It really made a big difference. I love it!
