The duck in this photo displays fluid movement.
I was actually taking photos of the Falls for water (water= fluid) but the duck took off
from the side and flew into my path. I decided that was a better use of
fluid.
I did a lot to this photo in PS- well more than I normally do. There were some ugly sticks in the water that distracted from the duck and I didn't like how brown the water was so I changed those things. {CC}

Your photo is beautiful, I too took some pics of water flowing today too, but yours is gorgeous!
Absolutely gorgeous, April, I love it!!! It's perfect in every way...
this is, just Wow!!!! I'm loving the whole concept... water, flying duck, it's all here! I'm truly loving this picture!!!!!
beautiful shot the duck flying in your view was wonderful what luck
great motion on the water and I love the lighting on the rocks. just thought i'd point out that that's actually a canadian goose, not a duck.
This is a really awesome picture. The way you caught the bird in motion is amazing!
Quick question...I know it would be a lot to explain but how do you Frame pictures in PS CS4? Is it pretty simple or maybe if it isn't simple, you or some one could do a tutorial on it. I think all the pictures looked so much more crisp with a black background (the way the old background was on the blog) so I was wanting to add a black frames around my pics, I just think it looks nicer.
Go April, Go April......excellent job
Simply put...WOW! I mean, what timing! Great capture of both the water fluidity and the fluid motion of the goose.
Wow. LOVE the finaly product; coloring, hue, contrast... everything. I would love to see the original...if you can post it!
This is a fantastic shoot. I looks like the Eagle Rock falls if I am not mistaken. I would put that on the cover of a tourism magazine or something cus it is just fantastic!
This is a very exciting picture. W/beautiful colors & a fluid fowl.
Thanks everyone!
For that border I use an action I found online. The only way I've ever know to do it is to change the canvas size (to however big you want the border to be) and then add a black layer underneath.
Amazing. This could be a postcard or something. Well done!
This is fantastic! You captured fluid in every aspect of the word. How did you bring out the blue like that? It really made a big difference. I love it!
WOW. Great shot!
