(just got my 50 mm lens and I am SOOO excited! But I am trying to figure it all out still. It kicked the ISO high because it was in Aperture mode...not sure why though. :)
----it's good to be back for this challenge!! I have missed stopping in here like I used to. Thanks for your patience everyone! :)

What a beautiful picture of your sister, Rachel!! I love it, it's perfect.
RACHEL!!! You have your 50mm!! I'm so thrilled for you. This picture is gorgeous! I love it, and I can't wait to see more with your new lens. Oh, and how many times do I have to tell you... don't put the iso on auto! My d90 always puts it higher than I think it should be. ;)
This is a perfect shot! I love everything about it! YAY! We can both learn about our AWESOME 50 mm lenses together! So glad you're having fun! Awesome shot!
Your sister is as sweet as she looks in this picture... I loved watching her play with your kids the other day! This is a beautiful shot of her.
Happy new lens!
Oh wow, this is a beautiful picture of your sister, she's got natural beauty for sure! I love the color... it just GOES so perfectly!!! It's good to have you back!!
I can't believe your iso is at 800. I shot my picture at 400 and had more noise. You're camera must be rockin'! Love this picture. Love the expression. Love the lighting.
What a great photo! And what a sweet sister. The photo looks great. I'm sure that Alan will help you out with the 50mm (but you'll have to put up with his silly jokes then...)
yes, yes Jen....I will deal with the jokes...just dying to figure this lens out! :)
Nothing sweeter than a sister...who's also a friend :)

Yay for your 50mm lens that you really really wanted!!
This is not just a beautiful young woman, but a beautiful photograph. It helps to have a great subject, for sure, but I love the softish lighting an the not quite black and white coloring to it. Great great photo.
