This is my daughter, Emma, doing the "Titanic move" while we were sailing yesterday. This may not be a typical portrait, but I like how it portrays Emma's personality. I believe all portraits should portray a bit of personality.

What IS the Mission 24 photo challenge?
Here is your mission, approximately once a week, an assignment will be given. Group members will then have 24 hours from the time of the assignment to take new pictures that interpret that assignment and post their picture for us all to see.
Again, this is YOUR interpretation of the word...be creative!
1) Move past the literal. Take risks and don't be afraid to do something wacky.
2) Under your submitted photo, tell us why that picture made the cut. Why did you take it? What inspired you?
3) LEAVE COMMENTS when you can!! It is fun to join in and let others know what we love about a picture.
4) TITLE your picture and use labels for each challenge as well as YOUR name so we can track by person.
5) HAVE FUN!

Welcome back, Dave! I love this picture, Emma is a dollface and I'm LOVING all the blue blue blue... its just beautiful! I like the angle you got this shot too... sort of like we're hangin on the side and looking up at her... great job!
What an awesome "titanic" shot! She's such a cutie, and I love all the blue too! I totally agree... portraits should always show some personality, otherwise it's just boring! ;)

Okay This is really cute! It made me chuckle, its the kind of stuff my kids do! I really like all the blue, its very calming! How the crap did you take this picture?
I actully was hanging off the side of the boat, holding the camera with one hand.
Looks like everybody had lots of FUN!
It is a good titanic shot. I still have never seen that show! Cute girl and way to go leaning over!
I also love the blue...the many shades of it here. And your daughter has a beautiful smile.
