The rough life of ants

I think ants have it prety hard with kids like mine constantly wrecking their homes. I was taking pictures of the desert landscape and took a picture of these ant hills ~ just for fun ~ but ended up liking it the best for this challenge. CC welcome!

Great Pictures... I looked at your other ones too and they were beautiful. I have a question for you..do you do all your frames in Photoshop? They make the pictures look so much nicer, I have tried it once or twice but get so dang confused and just give up! I have a tutor coming this summer so I am really excited about that...but your pics look amazing!

Thanks so much for the compliments ladies!

Teri ~ Yes, I always use PS for my borders; I agree that it just adds so much to the picture. I just found a new toy with PS too...ACTIONS! There are SO MANY out there...so I am excited to start downloading some and playing with them. Borders are so stinking easy, they only take 30 seconds. Just change the canvas size using the background color of your choice as many times and at what ever thickness you want! SO SIMPLE!! If you need more help, let me know! Have fun playing! :)

Nice view of the ants life.
2 questions, how did you attach a link on this blog to see your other photos, and how did your picture come out so big?

Glad you asked!
1. when you're posing your blog, highlight the "word" (like I used HERE) that you want to use as your link. Then, there is a button (like the add picture button) that looks like a globe with a chain on it; click it. Once you click it, a screen will pop up with an area to enter the web site address that you want the word to link to. Then, just hit enter when you're done! It's that easy!

2. I found out (through the WWW) a MUCH MUCH MUCH easier way to post pictures in bulk. I use Photobucket to upload my pictures, then you can use the HTML Code (usually posted right under your photo in photobucket) right in your post to uplosd your pictures. There are 2 reasons I like that better. One, it is so much faster to copy, paste the HTML codes (as many as you want) into your post than to upload them all (when you have bulk, anyway). Two, the HTML code posts your picture much larger than the largest size that blogger posts. The only draw back is that when you click on the picture once its posted, it takes you to photobucket, not a HUGE picture like when you upload in blogger.

Hope that made sense to you! :)

Melanie ( that is my daughters name too) thanks for the tips...yes I have found lots of actions on the web which I have used many times.. I just need to practice with the boarders or frames from photoshop. I do like the link that you had on too so people can see your other pictures. Thanks again.
