Some Sage Advice

A wise woman once said, "Katy, get your bottom inside that house RIGHT NOW and put some sunscreen on this instant".

Thanks, Mom.

But now, turns out I'm a little bit of a SPF-aholic. My sweet Hubs (whom I lovingly call Pale-Face) thinks it's crazy for a dark-skinned Asian to be so concerned about sun damage... but like I always say, "Tis far, far better to have a face.... than NOT to have a face at all". Ok, I really don't always say that, but I should.

Honestly, I'm not too proud of this picture. It's cloudy out today (surprise, surprise) so my "genius" ideas are all miffed by our finicky Idaho weather. Yesterday, I walked around parks and stores to hopefully stumble upon a Wise Old Indian Woman or an Owl or maybe if I'm really lucky an Elephant who is wise beyond its years. Turns out Elephants don't frequent the Rexburg Wal-Mart like I think they ought to. O Well! Happy Sunday

You are hil-ar-ious! I loved the story and the picture is of some very good products.

The picture is very crisp and clean. I like the towel or fabric... or whatever it is.. that you used for your backdrop. Very cool!

I hate it when I don't see random elephants at Wal-mart! Darn it.

You crack me up. Seriously... if we were in the same state, there would be a girls night!

Love the wisdom in your subject.

quite funny. Even for any skin tone it is a good idea to keep it on. It helps prevent sun damage over a long period of time so it keeps your skin healthier. You will have less creases and wrinkles later and less blemishes.

Yes Im a guy who knows about this stuff. Chop it up to 2 years working with a company that makes makeup and having a wife selling avon.

But it is a nice picture and I like the background too. It makes the whole configuration pulled together if you know what I mean.

I have turned into and SPF freak since getting older. I use to go to the tanning bed everyday when I was in high school, now I go to the dermatologit every year to have my moles measured. My husband works at the Wal-Mart Home Office, maybe he can suggest their be Elephants in the stores...hmmm

I'm with Breezi it would be great to live close to everyone and have a girls night out!

Haha. You're too funny. Way to go on the Sunscreen. My hubs works in the sun all the time, and I am always making him wear sunscreen. It is, for sure, better to have a face!
