RED LABEL

ISO 1600, F5.0, 1/6 second (taken in a basement with one lightbulb overhead)
burned edges and color boost in Lightroom.

I took SO many pictures for this--of SO many different things. But nothing quite felt right. I was pretty discouraged that I hadn't gotten anything really wonderful with the good light of the day, until I went down to do some laundry tonight and in the dim basement light I saw the good ol' campbells soup cans...

And that's how this idea was born...

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!! i'm having the hardest time with this challenge for some reason!! And with all of the amazing photos, this makes it even HARDER!! I Love the cans (wow, your pantry is NEAT and well-stocked!) but mostly LOVE the light, you turned regular ol cans into 'cooler-than-andy-warhol-art'... and that's no joke.

AWESOME!!!
I'll have to take a picture of the first quilt that my mom made for me. After my great grandma passed away my mom found her fabric stash. In it, was AWESOME early 1970's Campbell's tomato soup fabric!! I MADE her make a quilt for me out of it! It ROCKS!
Thanks for bringing back a good memory ;)

I love this set up. I like the shadows and shapes in this that the over head light brought to the picture. Nice work!

How do you come up with stuff like this?!? It reminds me of your awesome spray paint can set-up. You need to give us all a lesson in awesome set-ups! What camera do you have? I can't believe your ISO was so high, I can't see any noise. Oh and the lighting? LOVE IT!

wow I would find it hard to take a picture like that so you did fantastic. I love how the light even made one of the cans cast bright reflection of its top on to the one laying sideways.
Soup is always a good thing!

AND, I don't know why, but if you click it to make it larger, it looks way better than the web version. I don't know why...
