Rebirth

I was not having much luck with this challenge, what does easter mean to me? How can I translate it to a picture? Then I walked outside and I saw these beautiful pink sprouts. What could represent easter better than the rebirth of a perennial after a cold winter. I almost plucked the dead sticks from last year (perfectionist) but then I thought they would be a nice addition for the symbolism- death AND rebirth.

Very cool picture! And I too have dead sticks sticking up from everywhere from last year! :)

Love the vivid pink in contrast to the dull browns and greys of everything else...

great job!

I love the pink and brown together too, and I had the same thoughts as you did for Easter... it is so hard to find a picture that symbolizes what Easter really means to me. I love your picture... you found a wonderful symbol!

I wanted to do something like this, but I don't have any shoots just barely coming up like that. I really like it, though.
