The One that Stands Out

We're visiting my parents in an impromptu weekend visit. This is one of Mom's beautiful semi-precious stones, among all the plain pebbles of the driveway. I loved the contrast of the one beautiful rock in the midst of the plain ones.

I wish I had software to really make the color of the stone pop against all the grays, but I had to work with what was available - the program on Dad's computer that I'm not really familiar with. I cropped it to make the stone fill more of the frame, and sharpened the blue stone.

Beautiful and creative. I had a hard time coming up with something, and you came up with something good!

I love this... what an awesome find!!!!! Wow, the rock's color is so vivid and unique... it's beautiful! I love that you didn't center "THE" rock too-- it looks soooo cool!! Great job!!

Ooooh, good one! I love the color of that rock, especially against the others.

Very cool rock! I think how it is now makes it more natural if it was too much brighter it would be unrealistic to me.

That is amazing! Everyone has found really great finds this time! I am impressed! BEAUTIFUL color...I agree with Julie--too much more pop and it might not seem real.

Are you still at your parents?
