IT!!!!!! Oh I totally wish it was "hotenoughtomeltyourcones" weather out here!!! I LOVE this idea, the composition, the colors and the border... it all goes SOOO WELL together!!! Me Likey.
I don't think I would have had the will power to just sit and watch ice cream melt... it would have been in my stomach long before I got around to taking a picture. :0)
My only CC would be to try a different angle. Instead of looking down on it, get down on it's level. Maybe looking the ice cream head on, with a wide angle to really elongate the cone. Just an idea...
This picture made me so sad...until I realized you took it on a plate so you could still eat the ice cream! It's a beautiful photo--I like the way you've framed it, though I must admit the way you've taken the picture it strikes me as something I'd expect to see on a demotivators poster.
Definitely a hot idea! Love the melted ice cream--it FEELS hot--and the colors (great thinking with the background btw)! The only thing I might have changed would have been to have the ice cream cone at a diagonal. Love the pic though!
I really like this- the coloring and the movement. I actually like the angle but wish it had more room- you could add more black ("stretch" the canvas).
It is a good picture with the dtails of the melted parts. The way it is framed with the white boarder i keep looking at it and it reminds me of those demotivators.
Here is your mission, approximately once a week, an assignment will be given. Group members will then have 24 hours from the time of the assignment to take new pictures that interpret that assignment and post their picture for us all to see.
Again, this is YOUR interpretation of the word...be creative!
1) Move past the literal. Take risks and don't be afraid to do something wacky.
2) Under your submitted photo, tell us why that picture made the cut. Why did you take it? What inspired you?
3) LEAVE COMMENTS when you can!! It is fun to join in and let others know what we love about a picture.
4) TITLE your picture and use labels for each challenge as well as YOUR name so we can track by person.
5) HAVE FUN!

Love the creamy orange color and the textured cone. Superb I say!

Great idea, and neat picture! I think it would've been cool to have it melting ON the sidewalk, but then you couldn't lick the drips... ;)
Man! I can't believe you let a good cone die a horrible death just for the sake of art!
Well.. It is way cute, so it was worth it :)
I love how you can see the little ice cream bubbles in the melted pool of creamy orange.
WOW. THIS LOOKS DELICIOUS!
I love this idea...I too wish I could see it a little more elongated like Char suggested...just for another interesting angle. SO cool!
I like the simplicity of this photo. Focus on the object, and nothing more.

Hope it was as tasty to eat as it is to look at!

Love the colors.
Great shot! I just want to lick it up. I'm addicted to ice cream and I hate when the heat takes it away.
