Hot Chocolate

It is a gray and miserable day in Indiana, a perfect day for hot chocolate!

Photo was taken under a white florescent light (and white balance was set to reflect that), 1/6 sec, f/8.0, ISO 100. I adjusted colors with the curves function. I used Nestle Rich Chocolate and spiked it with cream. cc

Love it! The swirls of cream are just perfect! I might have liked to see a little more of the spoon, or no spoon at all, but really... it's a great shot!

OOOOH! I was SOOO going to do this last night, but changed my mind last minute! :)

I too would like to see more spoon or not at all...maybe an angle looking down the handle of the spooon.

But I do love the swirls you captured., VERY artsy!

I love the colors and "creaminess" of this photo! It's amazing how even looking at hot chocolate can make you feel warm and cozy! Great job!

Thanks! I did try a couple without a spoon (too plain) and with the spoon in a different spot, but I liked this one best. Looking at it now, there is one position I should have tried...oh well--it's in my tummy now!

This was perfect! I was going to do a similar one, too, but you did it SOOO much better! I love the blue cup!

I was going to do a Hot Chocolate- but you beat me to it- and did a better job than I would have! I think this would look really good as a moody b&w.
