I have loved this sign in our backyard ever since we moved in. As I was looking for inspiration, it popped out at me. I love it's rustic look. ISO 320, f5.0, 1/100 second
black and white in Adobe Lightroom Oh ya, and I shot in RAW mode
So, I'm almost tempted to say that I would rather see it in color... my mind is going crazy popping in these awesome rust tones and green backgrounds. Of course- I have no idea if those colors are in the original. So maybe it's better to be left up to my imagination... guess I'll never know. :0)
Nice composition and love the rustic feel. And thanks for being patient with me 'til I was ready to get back in the swing of things!
Here it is straight forward. you took something that would have been completely boring and made me look at it several times and for a long time! Who would have thought a little sign on a chain link fence could be so interesting.
wow! this is is awesome! I feel like even though its in black and white, I can see the color!! okay I know that sounds crazy, but I think it should do that, instead of seeing the color you feel it... I promise I'm not crazy. I really enjoyed this picture!
Here is your mission, approximately once a week, an assignment will be given. Group members will then have 24 hours from the time of the assignment to take new pictures that interpret that assignment and post their picture for us all to see.
Again, this is YOUR interpretation of the word...be creative!
1) Move past the literal. Take risks and don't be afraid to do something wacky.
2) Under your submitted photo, tell us why that picture made the cut. Why did you take it? What inspired you?
3) LEAVE COMMENTS when you can!! It is fun to join in and let others know what we love about a picture.
4) TITLE your picture and use labels for each challenge as well as YOUR name so we can track by person.
5) HAVE FUN!

oooooh, I love this one! What a cool sign the picture turned out great. I love the detail the fence behind it adds.
Oh man, I love this one! I love the rustic look it has, it just screams black and white. Nice!
this is stunning... it's like this little beat up sign was MEANT to be in B/W... love it!!!
The funny thing is, as I was editing it I tried something in color and loved it even more. :) But I do like the old look. :)
Great job, Rachel, I absolutely love everything about this...
