My mom grew these peppers in her garden last summer and strung them on fishing line to dry. If we'd had a Christmas tree, we would have used these for our decorations!
some pictures are great because they relate to people and/or bring back memories. This did that for me seeing tons of these things hanging from a hook on a wall in San Fran back when I was young. Nice shot.
Love the peppers! I like the different and alternating shades of red (and red-ish). I agree with Holly about a different background, though. Something darker could really "make" this picture.
Here is your mission, approximately once a week, an assignment will be given. Group members will then have 24 hours from the time of the assignment to take new pictures that interpret that assignment and post their picture for us all to see.
Again, this is YOUR interpretation of the word...be creative!
1) Move past the literal. Take risks and don't be afraid to do something wacky.
2) Under your submitted photo, tell us why that picture made the cut. Why did you take it? What inspired you?
3) LEAVE COMMENTS when you can!! It is fun to join in and let others know what we love about a picture.
4) TITLE your picture and use labels for each challenge as well as YOUR name so we can track by person.
5) HAVE FUN!

I love the color, texture, and angle of this picture! Great job!
Great choice for red! I like the angle and the way they're all lined up in the garland. Good job!

Nice shot.

good subject. I feel like a different color background would have helped it pop a bit more. Like it anyway. now i want something spicy.
OOH! Spicy PICTURE! Very nice texture and different shades of color. How cool!

Thanks, especially for the suggestion of a dark background--I'll have to try this again with a darker blanket.
