Foreboding Path

The SOOC version of this was actually fairly happy. Blue sky. New spring colors just starting to peek out. Then I turned it B&W and got a totally different feel. Kinda scary and foreboding right?

I really struggled with this one. I always seem to struggle with the ones that I think SHOULD be easier. Then I came across these curved trees on a walk with my son and it was a AHA moment. Then I was really excited about what the black and white did. I'd love your feedback.

I think it is very cool...kind of scary and creepy looking but in a good way. I think it turned out very well.

Very nice curve! I think that what I love most about black and white is it's ability to change the feeling of a picture SO drastically! GREAT job!

I love the "scary and foreboding" feel to this picture!!! Nice! I also like how the path turns and leads your eye through the picture.

That is a scary picture! Isn't it funny how just taking away the photo's color gave it a whole new and totally opposite feel?
GREAT JOB!

I love trees in black and white. This is a good shot I love how you got as much of the path as you could.

One of my favorites! Did you burn the edges in photoshop?
