Color my Easter

Easter has a lot of religious meanings to me, but I couldn't quite capture what I wanted in that respect...however, I took this picture during our little easter egg hunt. We have all been sick and never got around to coloring eggs this year. So we hid ours white. It was pretty funny...

I'm so sorry you've been sick! I think it's great that you documented the year of white eggs! And I love the little egg nestled in the giant tree. Great job!!

I love that you just did it anyway! That's awesome.

Great lighting on your picture. Simple, sweet...
Great job :)

Love this, Rachel!!! And I think it's hilarious that you guys hid white eggs! We didn't even hide eggs this year. I feel like Emma really got jipped, but we were down here at the beach and she would've been searching all alone.

Anyway, I love how the whole picture has the brown tint except the white egg! Really cool work!

Rachel... we were meant to be pals-- and this just confirms it... we didn't dye our eggs either (at least you hid yours.. not us!) but i'm smiling... hugely!

And the photo.. WoW!!! I love it!! The tree, i almost want to touch the screen and feel that bark-- it's so vivid. and the light is perfect, stunning photo!

happy easter!

You know, I didn't even change the tint of this. Our tree was brown, and our fence was brown, and our unraked leaves in the corner are brown... So it just came out this way! :)

Wow I love how the white egg stands out in a sea of brown. Also, love the shadows!

The white is kind-of amusing. I really like this photo because it reminds me of my dad. His favorite place to hide eggs is in the crook of a tree, like this. Thanks for the memories! :)

Also, I really like the positioning you've got going on with this photo. I only recently learned about the "rule of threes" but it really makes so much difference to shoot slightly off-center like that.
