Going out on a limb with this one. It was just the first thing that came to mind, even though I dont smoke..I adjusted the contrast and added a vignete.
I agree with Candace, the long ash on the cigarette is neat and a totally good picture that has to do with the topic. Smoking is one of the worst addictions to break, way to go on your subject.
I took the shot in my garage...my husband smokes ....(Yuk) and i jst thought of it and tried to capture how I felt about it...made it dark and gloomy....
Here is your mission, approximately once a week, an assignment will be given. Group members will then have 24 hours from the time of the assignment to take new pictures that interpret that assignment and post their picture for us all to see.
Again, this is YOUR interpretation of the word...be creative!
1) Move past the literal. Take risks and don't be afraid to do something wacky.
2) Under your submitted photo, tell us why that picture made the cut. Why did you take it? What inspired you?
3) LEAVE COMMENTS when you can!! It is fun to join in and let others know what we love about a picture.
4) TITLE your picture and use labels for each challenge as well as YOUR name so we can track by person.
5) HAVE FUN!

I like it!!! I really do, love the coloring and how you got the ashes to all stay intact. Great job!

This is the first thing that came to my mind too. Great job with the picture! I like the vignetting and the coloring.
This could totally be on a quit smoking add. I like the color!
I agree with Brittney. It looks like an ad. Very nice!
Out on a limb? Love it! It's got kind of a scary feel to it... Perfect for this challenge.
WOW! This is super cool. I agree, it could be on a billboard or something. Love the coloring...where did you end up finding this?

I like the way you captured this also, the greenish tint looks really good! Its about the same way I feel about it too.
Perfect! That greeish really makes it interesting and I love that the ash is soooooo long. My only wish is that the ash had been more in focus.
