Addicted to paint...

If you read my blog at all, you will know I have a spray paint addiction! I love to redo furniture and all sorts of other projects. And I always do it with spray paint! It's the BEST--the EASIEST--and the most CONVENIENT option for me!

I took this picture standing over a pyramid of spray paint and the other 3 cans. It was on a dark brown drop cloth that I had been painting. It looks like I photoshopped one set in, but in actuality I didn't. Just took it looking directly down at them.

Taken in my garage with only natural light.
(dang it, just realized my ISO was high again from my last photos. Darn it!)
ISO 1250, f5.3, 1/2000 second

Ran a color boost in Adobe Lightroom.

This is really the coolest picture! I can't believe those cans aren't hanging up. And I'm also impressed that you got the cans to stay in a pyramid.

And honestly, I can't see any noise from the high ISO when I enlarge the picture and the lighting is great!

I had to put two boards on either side of the cans to keep the bottom row from rolling and knocking the rest down. :) The things we do for a picture! LOL

I am glad it doesn't seem to grainy from the ISO. Whew! I don't know what my problem has been lately! I just keep forgetting that! :)

Awesome setup!! I like how it plays with the mind... what ARE those cans doing? ;) Our cameras can handle a pretty high ISO, so I wouldn't sweat it! Great job!

That is so cool. I've been staring at it the last few minutes trying to figure out how in the world you did it (yes, even though you explained how in the post ;)). Nice shot!

This is a wonderful shot but I still don't understand how you did it, even tho I read your description, so whatever or however you did it, turned out great. I have seen your projects and they are adorable.

wow, this was really creatively taken!! if that makes sense? I wouldn't have thought to set them up this way, what a great idea!

I really enjoy this picture! Great job getting all our minds thinking!

(I bet all the clerks at Joann's and Michael's think you are a graffiti artist because of how much spray paint you buy!)

When I saw the picture, I knew it had to be yours! I can't believe you did this without photoshop! What a great angle--it really teases the eye! Amazing job! --Jenny

Very interesting. The way the light reflects off the tops of the cans makes it look like a professional marketing photo. Well done.
