What Does this Automatically Bring

I discovered a foliage setting on my camera and thought I would experiment between that and a manual setting. No enhancements made this look better so I left it as it was taken. I took the picture just before sunset which was shining right on to the flowers. The camera didn't pick it up but there was a orange glow in the area. CC
Simply put sun and water automatically brings blossoms. For me it automatically brings a smile and joy. But it also automatically brings itching, sneezing and running nose!

Oh, I love spring blossoms! (I don't have allergies, though! ;) The colors are so beautiful! I might have tried to have the blossoms in the foreground in focus, but this is interesting too.

Beautiful flowers! Too bad about the seasonal allergies, my husband gets that and it's pretty miserable for him. Only thing I would play with would be the placement of the flowers - perhaps it would add more visual interest if they weren't completely centered.

GORGEOUS picture!! It looks like you are really picking up the photography talent! I am so impressed. And SO jealous that you have such gorgeous flowers blooming already!

Stephanie, good point I tried to play with that but the background was a parking garage and it wasnt that nice. It was the nicest one I could get.
Mindy not sure I know how to do that if you could let me know that would help!

Blake, sometimes if you have your camera on autofocus, it will choose what to focus on. If it focuses on something different from what you want, just let go of the button and try again. Sometimes it will work that way. If you can choose where to focus, point to where you want, hold the button halfway down until it beeps, or turns green, then you can move the camera to frame the picture how you want, then press all the way. Sometimes you might be too close for your camera to focus on the front thing, so in that case, you would need to move back, or choose to focus on something else (like you did here). I hope this makes sense! Let me know if you have any questions about what I said. :)

Mindy, thanks again. I did that but am thinking I could have ducked down a little more to get more level with the subject and maybe gotten a bit closer or zoomed just a bit. That might have done the trick. What you think? I appreciate all the help!
Rachel H. thanks for that it feels good for someone to say I am improving. Such a long way to go lol.
