Support: TMI Warning

I definitely wanted to get this up quickly. It was the first thing I thought of as soon as I read the challenge word.

My daughter is almost 11 months old, and I'm working on weaning her off of breastfeeding. My supply has been slowing diminishing for several months, but I've only been actively cutting back for a few weeks. Yesterday morning when I woke up, I was completely empty. The well had dried up. So I put on a non-nursing bra for only second time since my daughter was born. There was underwire in it. It was great!

About the photo: the only thing I did was make it black and white.

Ah yes, the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder. Unfortunately for me, I don't need much support in that area. Sigh. I like how you got in close, and showed your beloved underwire. ;)

This is hilarious because I am getting there myself. Some days I long for a good underwire, but at the same time I really want to let my baby nurse as long as possible.

Great picture!

Ha! I like it in black and white. def makes the bra stand out better

It's a white bra, and I laid it on a navy blue wool blanket to shoot, so it's actually not a huge difference from the original, but I liked it better.

Sometimes those little details make all the difference--kind of like when I boost the color a little on a photo. Just that little change makes it so much better! What a great take on this challenge. I had this cross my mind too, but wasn't sure how to portray it. You did perfect!

interesting take on support. I dont think most people would have thought about that.

@Blake...

I think it's funny that you say "most people" because it was the FIRST thing that popped into my head, and I wanted to get it posted before someone else did. I was thinking that lots of other people would think it. Is it really mean and selfish of me that I wanted to snag it before others? (Not that we can't repeat.)

You did great Janelle! I actually saw your photo before I saw the challenge word, and I immediately thought "It must be something like support". I can't even tell you how glad I was to get into non-nursing bras again! Your photo obviously touched a lot of people, ha ha ha. Which is great!

Very creative! I like the crop you choose. It does look a little dark so I think an exposure boost would really make it pop!

I agree with april- I love the crop! Well done.

This photo isn't even cropped. It's where I shot it. For such a boring picture, I actually kinda like it a lot. Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
