Sunday Morning at the River

f22 1/80 iso200 18mm

This morning I drove up the canyon to think and reflect. There are so many pressures around us every day, and sometimes we need to sit back and think about what is most important. To me, it's the simple things that are closest to my heart... my faith, my husband, my kids... I get so caught up in the details sometimes, that I forget.

Mindy, you never cease to amaze. I love the beauty and simplicity of this picture. How the river curves around...the sun shining...it's all so beautiful!

This is so beautiful, Mindy! I love the curve of the river, the rocks, how the rays of the sun are spiking across the blue sky. It's gorgeous!

Great job!

I too love this pic. The depth is amazing...and the rocks draw the eye far out into the water! Beatiful

My favorite part is the light coming from the left and the way you caught it playing on the water. I love the perspective and your feelings of reflection.

What a beautiful place! I bet it's really beautiful in Spring. I almost wish the rocks in the beginning weren't so prominent though.

I love your picture, it is very calming to me, we are surrounded by water where I live and it's just so pretty and serene, love the rocks and the sky as well.

P.S. yes I have read Jeanette Oaks books and I love them too!

What a gorgeous picture! I love how it's framed, and the burst of light at the top left. I love that you can see the sun rays, but they don't overpower the picture. Beautiful.

Your pictures are ALWAYS amazing! I just love this. I love the sun peeking into the frame warming the rocks. The blue sky. I need you to fly out to Wisconsin some time and teach me!
