...in my city's skyline is the temple. It's ever a stark, white contrast against the dark or stormy sky, and can be seen from almost anywhere in town.
(I used a Nikon D-40, automatic setting, no flash, with natural overcast lighting, then slightly cropped it.)

The temple and the snow are both very beautiful. You got really great pictures on your automatic setting! Mine never turn out that great on automatic. Good job!!!
Wow, the sky is gorgeous on your temple picture! I was going to say I'd crop it in tighter, but then I realized the sky would be cut out. Keep it as is! :)
Very nice job with your new Nikon camera, I love the sky on your Temple picture and of course the Temple is absolutely beautiful. Don't you love your new camera?
I love both pictures! I loved driving the freeways in that area and seeing the temple from nearly every viewpoint. Nice angle on it!
I am so jealous you get to see that every day...so gorgeous! And way cool effect with the snow!
ahem, i didn't know there was a fellow Rexburgian on this blog!!! That's awesome!! I love these two pics, they are amazing!! Oh and hallelujah on the warming up weather... except for that freak blizzard today... what was that all about??!
A very beautiful shot of the temple
The sky in your temple shot is GORGEOUS!! Wowzers!
Seeing your temple picture makes me homesick!! Good job on both.
The temple definately stands out in may ways, and that is a great shot!
I love your take on feature. Nice colors- the temple really stands out against the sky. I might crop it a little differently so it's not so centered.
