A Husband's Support

Every young woman needs the support of her husband while pregnant! The wrap I hve the young mom in is something I got from sportsman warehouse to put a dead deer in- What do you think?

I think this picture is Beautiful and it goes so well with the Topic. The wrap looks good too.

I feel like you are suck in a rut. I would like to see more spontaneous pictures. Maybe something taken outside or spur of the moment. Not so photo shopped. Just a suggestion. This picture does go very well with the topic.

Holly, I dont' know if I agree or disagree with you...I think some people really love studio pictures, and that's what they want to focus on, and that's great. Some like natural lighting, some studio lighting, etc. April comes across more as a Studio gal to me, and I think your work is fantastic. Maybe my only suggestion would be with a picture like this (Maternity) to get rid of all the background stuff...maybe just use a plain black drop or white drop, or just a plain color, and let the pregnancy shine itself a little more. i love the backdrop and the other items in the picture, but I feel like it maybe detracts a little from the pregnancy itself. Love the wrap she is in! And I LOVE the idea of the mirror image...maybe just using that mirror image, with a black backdrop and them sitting on a couch or chair or something...

I like that the husband is literally supporting her... fits very well with the subject. I agree with Shanda on the props being distracting. I do think we all have our own styles, but, like Holly said, it would be fun to see what you could do with a different subject/setting. (I always love to take pictures of people too... that's my "thing", but I force myself to try new things.)

I agree with everyone! :) I would love to see your non-studio pics too, but you do also do beautiful work in studio. I think just to shake things up once in a while.

And I also agree about the distracting props...this is such a beautiful, simple shot and I think a plain background would have fit perfect!

What a great idea to use the deer wrap! You're a smart cookie!

You caught a really nice moment here- they both have a really nice expression. I'm not really a fan of the "dead deer" bag as a dress- it looks cheap.

Anne Geedes used one in one of her maternity shoots- Thats where I got the idea. I guess thats what makes art so much fun, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Client loved the idea.

These people look so familiar to me. Are their names Jess and Eric? If so, what a small world!
