Dome supprt beams

Ok- I have to admit this. I'm cheating a little bit- just a little though. I took this on Monday- BEFORE the challenge. I know- big no no. I'm sorry! But when I heard what the challenge was this is the first thing I thought of and since they only have free days on Monday I figured this would just HAVE to do.

OK- mostly, I really like how this picture turned out and I wanted to share it and get some feedback. So- please forgive me for fudging the rules a little this time.

I loved how mechanical and somewhat cold it was, this was taken at the Domes in Milwaukee- they are indoor gardens but ironically you can't see any of the foliage in this shot. It's all about the structures of it. The focus may be the lamp but the subject is actually the domes you can see in the background. My only gripe is the section of the wall that is solid, it would have been so much cooler if it had been completely webbed.

Wow, this looks amazing! I'm really loving the lines in this... cool contrast between the grid in the back and the pretty antique-y lamp. And i really like the class in the lamp too.. very nice!

great shot! I actually like that you have a little bit of the wall in it, it just seems like it gives a beginning, middle and end to the picture. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but thats just what I think! I like it!

Cool picture! I like the composition, and the angles are awesome. I don't know if it would've been better or worse, but did you try having the dome part in focus and the lamp blurry?

I too love the lines! I would have loved to see the lines going all the way across the picture, but nice shot!

that is a fantastic shot. With each topic I sometimes try to find my own meaning in what others post and there was more for me in my own life that I got out of your idea. Great idea and thanks!

I love it! Wow, this is an amazing shot! I can't decide now if this is my favorite of this challenge or if the steel bridge is my favorite. I love the focus of this, I love the old lamppost, I love that the lines are diagonal, I love all the light in the photo. Great shot!

Such great lines! It's okay to break the rules every now and then--hehe! :) Especially for a great shot like this!

I really like all the lines you have going on in this photo. The tilting lamp is a little distracting.
