Success: Anger Management
Sorry I'm late... Success is keeping my cool when my 2 year old does stuff like bite off little pieces of apple peel and then spit them on the floor... Or when he cracks eggs on the floor... Or gets into the dry erase markers... Or pulls every single book off the shelf... Or... you get the idea. I felt successful yesterday because instead of freaking out about the apple peel, I calmly asked him to spit the next one in the garbage- and he did. Success, even in small portions, is still success.
So anyway, a question: If you could pick any background for this apple picture, what would you choose? I didn't have time to find a new spot for it, but was afraid the background would be too distracting (although I kind of like having my toddler in the background). But if I would have had time to move it and "pose" it, where should I have put it? Any ideas?
As always, {CC}

I think an apple like that HAS to have a reason in the background. I like having the toddler there, otherwise you'd wonder what on EARTH had happened to it. ;)
So non-chalantly returning to the scene of the crime, looking so innocent. I agree with Mindy.
Oh and by the way...
TAG! You're it!! Go to my blog and read the directions and you get to tag!
I would like to see the apple on the floor with all the spit-out bites gathered around it. I do like that the sticker is still on it, and that you chose to include that in the photo. Makes it funnier.
I'm liking it the way it is. You have to have the little guy in there some where!
Nice work.
ha ha ha...amen!
I love the composition of the picture just the way it is, the only thing that is slightly distracting is the door leading to the kitchen in the background...maybe just if it had been taken at a slightly different angle so as to not have that in the background...but still have your lil guy. I like it with him in the pic though.
hahaha....that is too funny! Great job!!
I don't find the background distracting, having your son there gives it context. My 2 year old also likes to steal apples. He actually eats them...well half of them anyway, before he drops it somewhere, then goes to the fridge and gets another one! One day I found 4 half eaten apples in various places. Curses that he can open the fridge!
LOL this is just fantastic! I am a stay at home dad for now and my son who is just under 2 does this as well and my daughter did it at that age as well. Mine still never spit it in the garbage, but the dog followed like a vaccum.
I think the picture is very good though better than I could do I think. after also reading about some photography and looking at the picture that window on the right has great light. I would move it to the opposite side of that window and take the picture or take it earlier or later in the day when there isnt as much light coming through. That is it. Everything else is fantastic, I laughed out loud!
I like you're son in the background, it gives another demension to the pic, even without the explanantion.
