No Shadow of a Doubt

Ok, I'm really trying to label my pics right...hopefully I did it this time.

I tried this picture a couple months ago when I was working with shadows, but I retook it again today. This time I shot it in Raw, (F11, 1/500) so I could play with it more. I wish I had a gold ring instead of a silver...the light would bounce off of it better...but I don't, so I used what I have.

My meaning for the picture, is that there is no shadow of a doubt in my mind, that God lives and Loves his children. I'm thankful for Christ and all he has done for me in my life.

As always, CC is welcome.

Thanks

I LOVE this! It's so awesome, I love the way the shadow of the ring makes a heart on the pages. GREAT job!

That is such a cool picture! I, too, like the effect of the shadow-heart on the pages. I also like the warm lighting, taking it from hmmm to oooh! Beautiful!

I love this picture, and especially the meaning behind it. I liked how the ring made a heart shadow--a symbol of God's love for us, which is a major theme we find in the scriptures.

Shanda, this one is my favorite shadow picture! I love the meaning, and the picture (I've been trying to duplicate it... how on earth did you get the ring to stand up??)

How clever. It's got 'love' all wrapped up in that photo

Mindy...I just worked on balancing it for a long time, then snapped away. it was tricky, because the wind was blowing a little and kept blowing my pages...it was a pain. You have to have a big enough round ring I found. It's gotta be pretty thick.

So I tend to be a little weepy and sensitive, esp. in light of my personal struggles. I find so much love in the scriptures though. I love this photo. It is a more tangible way of showing that feeling. Thank you.

What a great idea for a photo. Who knew a ring would create a heart in the center of the book? I love it. Creative idea. So talented!
