LOVE is a little bling to make you feel amazing!

My husband surprised me with this beautiful ring for Valentine's day--this is really special because I am a very practical person. If I needed a blender, I would ask for a blender for Valentine's day. :) But my husband said he has always wanted to get me jewelry--which I pretty much always shot down because of expense and practicality.

But this year he did it...and I have to say, I loved it. It was such a thoughtful gift...and I have found myself glancing down at my finger all day getting giddy thinking about how much I love that special guy!! :) He made sure to say he thought I was beautiful on the inside and out and that I deserved to wear beautiful things.

Nothing like a little bling to make you feel AMAZING...and totally in love. :)

Okay, so how and where did you take that picture? It's as gorgeous as the ring!

The picture looks straight out of a catalog!

I'm practical like that too - I usually ask for something I need. It's so fun and romantic when husbands think beyond what you ask for!

I'm like that too! In fact, I don't celebrate V Day on the fourteenth because you can buy flowers and chocolates for a third of the price Feb 15!!

I actually took this picture on a glass-topped end table I have that sits in front of a window. It's actually where I take a lot of my pictures because it's great light! :) So, natural light, no flash. ISO 400, f 5.6, 1/100. The only editing I did was a sepia and sharpening in Lightroom.

I originally didn't want to get the jewelers name in the picture. So I took abut 15 pictures from the top view so you just saw the top of the lid and the ring in the box. But as I was looking through the pictures on the computer, I was much more drawn to the 2-3 shots I took with the name in it. It "spoke" to me...it felt like it told me a story. And suddenly the name didn't seen so distracting. Sounds, cheesy, huh? But that's the how and why I chose this picture. :)

I didn't think the name of the jewler was distracting. Wonderful shot!

Great shot! It looks like a magazine jewelry ad.

You deserve it, you beautiful woman!! And I really like the photo. I don't think the jeweler's name is distracting and I like that the texture on the box is so defined.

Gorgeous! I love the ring and picture! I want to see the ring on your finger, too... you'll have to post that on your blog. :)
