Don't Forget the Love!

I love to bake -- probably too much! My girls have been helping me since they were big enough to sit next to me on the counter... and they always add their special ingredient. The LOVE! Their sweet little fingers have wiggled over every cookie, cake and pie adding in our traditional ingredient that makes all the difference. Even my hubby plays along, telling them, "Wow! I can tell you put extra love in this batch!"
This is my sweet Caroline. I went with black and white with this one because the colors were just too crazy and distracting from what I wanted to show.

I adore this picture. It's beautiful and I think the black and white gave it a wonderful effect. It really makes you focus on the little girl, without the distraction fo the colors of the floor, the clothes, the walls, the cabinets... which, I'm sure is exactly what you were talking about. Excellent job!

The black and white is perfect! It does look like she is really concentrating on adding the "love". Really well done.

This picture is great! It looks like it belongs on the front of cookie package or something. Oh, and I LOVE your brick backsplash!

This totally captures the essence of passing the cooking tradition on! I think the picture is wonderful.

This is beautiful. I love the black and white, but also wonder what it might have looked like in sepia?

What a fun tradition. I might have to start that with my kiddos.

That is so sweet. I like the picture too. I think it would also look good with just a pop of color, maybe you're daughter in color or something on her. Just an idea.
