Clean Those Contacts!

Someone just taught me how to use my "micro-something-or-other" button and I LOVE IT!!! Anyway, my hubby was doing nightly ritual: clean teeth, clean face, clean contacts... made him "wash" his contact like 30 times before I got one shot that wasn't blurry! Fun to learn new things!

ps. I'm choosing to forgo critiques for my photos... not because I don't want to get better, but because my "Photog-Ego" is tender and easily bruised! I think in time, I'll get more confident... till then, I am LOVING everyone's pictures!!!

You did a really good job getting close up to the contact lense and the water... sometimes that is hard to do because like you said it is to blurry but you did great..good job!

That's really cool. I love it. I thought at first that it was a drop of water, until I read that it was your husband's contact. Very cool shot!

Cool! I have contacts, but never really look at them that way when I clean them. Great picture.

This is really a cool picture. I love the way you can see the water droplets on their way down and how it all collected on the contact. Good job!

I love the water droplets!!! I've tried to take pictures like this but they never turn out. Great job. And can someone tell me where I might find the micro button on my Nikon D40?

LeAnn, okay, so i guess it's called a Macro button (not what I called it, the micro-something-or-other)! but on my point and click camera it's got a picture of a flower on it! it's so super cool!
