Straight out of the Garden

I am so proud of myself this year.

My mother in law and myself have been tending our garden and here is only a portion of the goodies that I have canned from it. Jams, jellies, pickled items, plums, pears, green beans, corn and so much more. I love the popping sound when they are ready. I also love all different colors of all the food.

Yay me!!!

Fearless Leader-Rachel

When I think of Rachel I think of a very FEARLESS Leader. You have been so great in teaching us so much and taking on a lot with this. I know that I am not the only one that feels like this. You were there whenever anyone had any sort of questions, we knew that if we put CC on ours you would be sure to be one to input and help out. I want to say thank you so much for starting this. It has improved my skills and because of you I have found a new love in photography.
THANK YOU!!

signs of getting older

This isnt my best picture but its hard getting a class of kindergarteners to hold still and look happy. Some noise in the back but it will get better with practice.

My graduate, the one who refused to wear the cap.
He also wouldn't do any of the songs, dance, or motions.
He is a peach.

Severe Emotion

My son was so freaked out when all the channel's on the TV flashed "severe thunderstorms and a tornado watch"
He was so scared, yes I took advantage of such a scary time for him but he was so sincere in his emotions.
I did cuddle him when i was done torturing him.

Change

This one was a little harder, how do you capture change??

So for mothers day my family went to a Iris Garden for a change of scenery. Well that didn't really satisfy me for the topic and knew someone had already gotten that idea.
So as my daughter and I were taking pictures of what few flowers were in bloom, only a few iris, and Rhody's she made note that the bees could sure use a change in bloomed flowers.

TA DA, light bulb went on and the chase was on. I went from one bee to another and got two shots i wanted to post but here is one of them.

Finding Balance in My Camera

I was using the tips from the latest tutorial and I am finding the Balance with
Aperture, ISO and Fstop.

I didn't use any photo-shop, this is straight from the camera.

I am not sure what the settings were, i am not sure how to bring it up on my camera.
I guess that is my next project with my camera.
