I have been waiting for a challenge to use this house in. I love the vintage brick, windows, door, wheel barrow and the old school lawn mower. I cropped it, used warmify from picasa . Camera Used HP Photosmart R707 ISO 100 F8.4
This was taken at my favorite park.I love the snow pile at the bottom of the slide. I was mad at the snow when I woke up this morning but the snow really made the red pop. 1/500 F5.4 ISO 100

I took this picture this morning while it was raining. I love that you can see the rain droplets on the leaves and the flowers. SOOC with some cropping.
O.K. everyone here it is bigger. the editing program I had would not make it bigger because I only had the trail version. here is is with nothing except how it was straight from the camera.
This is one of my table chairs. I moved a bit while taking this but I love the abstract effect it gave the photo. I changed it to sepia even though it was very close to the same color I liked this look better. F 3.2 ISO 100. cc
My nieces feature entertainment. I sharpened this up a little, darken the background tones and changed the white balance to cloudy. I think it really pops the colors.
When I get in my car I automatically turn the radio station to one that is cohesive to my mood. Usually it is preset button 1 or2. no flash used. macro focus.
This is my new paper cutter. I love how I got the front blurry and the end clear. I had to turn off my flash for this picture and used a manual focus and the normal lighting in my living room.
My dad made me take home my some boxes that I still had at his house. Inside I found letters from some really special people. Some have passed on, some I have lost contact with, others I just reconnected with and some I talk to everyday. It was great fun reading over these letters and to remember the bond I had with each one. It makes me sad that people don't write letters and mail them any more...
Hi. My name is Holly. I am Melissa's sister and Mindy's SIL. I am married to Adam who is the most wonderful man in the world. I don't work and having kids just hasn't happened for us, yet. I have extra time on my hands. I am excited to be apart of this blog. My camera sucks. Its not cool and I can't do cool things with it. Sorry, you will have to look at all my mediocre pics.
Here is your mission, approximately once a week, an assignment will be given. Group members will then have 24 hours from the time of the assignment to take new pictures that interpret that assignment and post their picture for us all to see.
Again, this is YOUR interpretation of the word...be creative!
1) Move past the literal. Take risks and don't be afraid to do something wacky.
2) Under your submitted photo, tell us why that picture made the cut. Why did you take it? What inspired you?
3) LEAVE COMMENTS when you can!! It is fun to join in and let others know what we love about a picture.
4) TITLE your picture and use labels for each challenge as well as YOUR name so we can track by person.
5) HAVE FUN!
