Shadow of Each Other

SOOC just in b & w, 1/200, f 7.1, ISO 200

Here are my boys. Hope it is okay to include them in this challenge. It was so overcast yesterday and I was bummed that I couldn't get a good picture of shadows but we tried anyway. My boys love each other so much. It is so funny to watch them play. They will mimic each other in so many ways. The two youngest vie for their older brothers attention. They are his shadow constantly. Probably even when he wants a few minutes alone! It is amazing to me how different they all are but how many things they do so much like each other. Anyway, here are my little shadows. My hope is they all grow up to be remarkable boys like their dad!

Dreaming of Spring

I am dreaming of Spring. I miss the warmth. So sorry this pic is blurry. I am trying to push myself into taking photos in manual mode and it is challenging for me. I took so many picture today and after all was said and done, I didn't like any of them. Anyway, I only chose this one because we have been in an inversion and haven't seen the sun for day and days. Tonight we had a nice little sunset. I think it would look so much better if the grass and trees were green though. Someday, I do want to be a photographer! Ultimately that is my dream!

Here I am! Malissa

Hello everyone. It’s me Malissa! I am sorry I am so late with this post. I had minor computer problems this week and it has now ended with me buying a new keyboard so I can type once again. It was this or I was going to have to use the on-screen keyboard forever. And what a pain that was! I also am not a fan of self-portraits. Mainly due to I am not very photogenic. I love to take picture of others though!

I am a full time mother, wife to one, and employed full time outside our home. Our home life is really busy but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I am a lover of sunshine, summertime, (maybe because it is so cold out right now!) hugs and kisses from my little ones, and anything chocolate! I have 3 little boys that keep us busy. Tanner is 8. Spencer is 6 and Adam is 4. Me and my hubby have been married for 12 yrs and have been living in Boise Idaho for the last 5 yrs. Finally, we are starting to make this our home. I am so happy to “meet” you all and look forward to taking some fun pictures this year!

Clean: Kitchen Style

Nothing says clean to me more than my kitchen at the end of the day. I love having an empty clean sink. It means that the kitchen is clean and I can tackle the rest of my house tomorrow! I am not a pro so please let me know what you think! CC
