Despair

(50 mm, ISO 100, 1/15, f 1.8, window light)

I love that his face tells a story. You can tell that there is something very heavy weighing on his mind. This is my shot for "Emotion."

The window light that I used for this shot made for a really great dramatic look. All of the vignetting was done in camera so the only real post-processing that I had to do was switch it to black and white.

CC Welcome.

Portrait of my KyKy

(50 mm, ISO 100, f 5.0, 1/400)

This portrait of my spunky little girl completely captures her personality. We went swimming yesterday and Daddy was throwing her up over his head- her favorite! If I had to sum up my little girl in one picture, this would be it!

CC welcome.

Allow me to introduce myself...

Hi! I'm Erica. I'm a part-time photographer and a full-time wife and mommy. My family is my life and photography is my passion! You will soon find out that I am utterly in love with my 9 month old baby girl, Kylie, and she tends to be the subject of most of my photos. I look forward to getting to know all of you through this fun photo blog!

I told you, my baby is in just about every picture I take. Here we are hanging out in her room with the camera propped up on a window sill. Love her!
