A Sunday Reflection

I had several different ideas for this challenge, but none of them quite came through as well as this one (though trying out each of them taught me that I need to learn a little more about my camera when it comes to taking reflection pictures =) ). I chose this picture because I loved the idea of it: it's our living room light reflected on an image of the Savior, playing off of the principle that Christ is the light of the world. Another thing I liked about this picture was the added effect that I got of some light rays coming off of the Savior as a result of our light and other lighted objects in the background. (I took this picture with a Nikon D-40, on auto focus without the flash.) CC welcome (especially tips on how to get more out of my reflections!)

I like your explanation about the Christ being the light. I wish I could help you more with your camera!

I like how you take a common problem with taking pictures of framed pictures (the reflection!) and turn it into the actual subject of your picture. I think it worked well.
